ABOUT US

The Kiwanis Club of Cambria Heights identifies community needs and provide projects that will serve those needs. We work to help our youth by helping them to develop their potential. We do this through our sponsored youth organizations in our local middle/junior high and high schools and colleges and through other club projects to benefit young people and those in need.

 

OUR MEETINGS

 The Kiwanis Club of Cambria Heights meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at one of the following locations.

The Following are the 6 Objectives of Kiwanis International:

  • 1) To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than the material values of life.

  • 2) To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

  • 3) To promote the adoption and application of higher social, business, and professional standards.

  • 4) To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.

  • 5) To provide, through this club, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build a better community.

  • 6) To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.
